Mostly my journal is here so that I can post to other people's journal without being anonymous. I'll occasionally ramble about something weird going on at home or work. I sometimes use this journal to rant/praise a fandom or post pictures/artwork - usually Doctor Who/Torchwood/SJA, but occasionally others. I'm attempting to figure out the more advanced side of layout design, so if you see a complete scrambled mess on my journal it just means that I'm playing and it's nothing unusual.

Here are a few Doctor Who companion-centric banners I've made. Any banners or icons that I make are snaggable as long as you credit.



I'm a professional graphic designer that works for a university in the Southern US, and a complete nerd. I'm the 40-something crazy old lady with 9 cats. I have little or no tolerance for "self-inflicted stupidity." (It's usually Republicans that fall under that category, but there are some Democrats I'd happily throw in that rubber room as well). I take up for the underdog almost to a fault. I have a low tolerance for large organized religion. I love learning and am a livelong student (good thing I work for a school, that makes it a lot easier!)

My biggest pet-peeve is people who try to make me into what they want me to be. I'm a firm believer in "agree to disagree." If you disagree with something I post, feel free to say so. I'll respect that - especially if you can intelligently defend your position. You may even change my mind. But please remember that I have just as much right to my opinion as you have to yours.
